Screening for Plagiarism Policy

JIK: Jurnal Ilmu Kesehatan is committed to maintaining academic integrity and preventing plagiarism throughout the publication process. All submitted manuscripts may undergo a similarity check before proceeding to the peer-review process.

The screening process uses plagiarism or similarity detection software to identify potential plagiarism, duplicate publication, or the use of material from other sources without proper attribution.

Manuscripts with a high similarity level or indications of plagiarism will be further evaluated by the editor. Authors may be asked to provide clarification or make revisions before the manuscript can proceed.

If plagiarism or serious academic misconduct is confirmed, the journal reserves the right to reject the manuscript. If misconduct is identified after publication, the journal may take appropriate action, including issuing a correction or retracting the article.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all quotations, paraphrased materials, data, figures, and other materials obtained from external sources are properly acknowledged and referenced.

JIK: Jurnal Ilmu Kesehatan applies this policy to maintain the originality, credibility, and integrity of all published works.
